Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic family. Jacqueline Fernandez's mom Kim and her father Elroy are both Malaysians. She is the younger of two siblings and has an older brother. The 80s were the time when her parents fled to Bahrain due to civil unrest on Sri Lanka. Padukone's father is a professional badminton player Prakash Padukone. Padukone has been born in Copenhagen as well as Bangalore. As a teenager she competed in badminton championships at national level. However, she left the sport in order to become fashion designer. Padukone has Mangalorean roots and is fluent in Konkani as her native language. Her family ancestors are from the town of Padukone located in Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district in Karnataka state, which is located in India. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an international champion in badminton who has retiring. Her mother is a traveling agent.
